Reduce your risk of lymes disease by following these tips: After spending time outdoors in wooded or grassy areas, check your clothes and then throw clothing into high heat set dryer set.Do a tick check, Take a shower or bath and blow dry hair with high heat.
Eucalyptus Essential Oil is a good natural repellent. Do not put it too close to your eyes, to avoid burning effect. Those with high blood pressure, pregnant people, and small children avoid direct touch of the oil with skin.
You can use the eucalyptus oil on your pet too but make sure to place it away from its eyes.
Use a tissue or a paper towel to soak in Eucalyptus Essential Oil for about 15 minutes, and then let it dry away from the sun, and put it on your pet.
When you are out and want to find out if ticks are around, bind a piece of white fabric to a string and drag it through the grass. Examine it. Ticks will cling to the cloth and you will not it easily.
Keep your pet off furniture, especially the bedclothes. Make certain that you have very fine-pointed tweezers available. Avoid Lime disease!
