Being alert for tick bites that spread diseases is important. Tick bites are harmful to your dog and family’s health. Wooded regions might be unsafe to your pet.

1. Brush your dog often. Make regular tick bites checks and examine your dog closely to spot any embedded ticks, which can seriously disturb your dog with lyme disease. Look over carefully your dog, especially after hanging around outdoors.
2. Use tick / flea treatments and medications to kill these injurious ticks. Preventing tick bites is necessary. Follow your veterinarian advice. Apply tick-terminating chemicals on your pet’s exterior to protect them from tick bites. You can use dips and sprays containing pyrethrins and permethrins to kill ticks on dogs. As some of the pets are allergic or very sensitive to these sprays and chemicals, conduct the application very carefully..
During the application process use rubber gloves.
Tick collars will aid to avoid tick bites. Ensure that you never apply multiple repellents on your pet, because a blend of various chemicals could make your pet very sick. Follow your veterinarian suggestions to protect your dog from tick bites and lyme disease through vaccination.
3. Trim grassy areas often to minimize tick habitation, which is the root cause of lyme disease. Keep your dog safe against tick bites. Take care of the habitat with insecticides intended specifically for ticks.
